Iridescent Purple Gold Bowl

Jianzhan, a specialty of Jianyang District, Nanping City, Fujian Province, is recognized as a Geographical Indication product of China.

Jianzhan refers to black-glazed tea bowls fired in Jian Kiln, known as Jian Kiln black-glazed bowls. Jianzhan flourished during the Song Dynasty and was once favored by royal nobility. The kiln's legacy spanned 300 years, ceasing production during the Yuan Dynasty. Most Jian Kiln black-glazed porcelain from the Song Dynasty were tea bowls collectively referred to as "Jianzhan".

In the tea industry, Jianzhan is hailed as "the quintessential vessel crafted for tea", while in ceramics it is revered as "an art form that masterfully combines earth and fire". Despite its outwardly pitch-black appearance, Jianzhan harbors a profound depth that evokes a sense of mystery, embodying the nurturing essence of all things.

The iridescent purple gold bowl pays homage to the Dharma instrument of eminent monk Tang Xuanzang, boasting a metallic texture that reflects light dynamically. The bowl's frosted surface enhances grip while resisting slippage.

This product consists of a single tea bowl.
